    Both these phones look sweet!

From Engadget (Posted Sep 5th 2007 3:23AM by Thomas Ricker)

Here you go spyshot fans: purported pics of LG's new VX10000 and VX8800 handsets which recently cleared FCC approval. They're definitely grainy pics of something with all the naughty bits blocked to protect the innocent. Of course, the VX10000 is fascinating as the supposed successor to LG's VX9900 QWERTY beast. Perhaps more interesting to the masses, however, is that VX8800 slider up there which by all accounts would be the successor to LG's (and Verizon's) VX8550. Just look at that display: big (and thick), and presumably touch-sensitive all baked onto a slider.

Nice looking phones... AND i thought the 8550 & 8700 were hot looking devices. THe 10000 looks slick and not clunky like the enV.

Whoever is supposed to block out the verizon name didn't do a good job... from the Verizon wireless banner to the verizon name in silver on the VX10000. I see why some places do not allow cameras or camera phones inside their buildings LOL

If you look at the second picture of the VX8800, it looks to me like who ever took the pictures was using a Motorola V325 by Verizon.
I like the outside of the new VX10000. With the exception of the UI menu, the inside looks almost the same as the enV.

According to Engadget, these were submitted "anonymously", so I'm not surprised the cover ups are a little amateurish...:D

I went to Atlantic City on Thurday for the VZW 4th Qtr sales kickoff (indirect channel) and had the chance to play around with the VX10000... In one word: AWESOME. thats all i can really say about it. I also saw the samsung Juke and the Moto RIZR among others.

The JUKE Is not worth much more than $100. I think it's mostly a music player, not sure how good a phone it turns out to be ;) From what I hear it's even lacking EVDO.

I just checked out the retail pricing again in My Account today... the Juke is $270; I knew that retail surely could not be $100. Oh well... glad I am not rushing to buy this phone. I'd be sad if I didn't buy it yesterday;)

I think that it is sleek looking but I use my phone as a messaging and voice device; so I know that the Juke is not going to work for me. It would be on as a secondary line so i can listen to music at the gym and use as a voice phone... if I ever considered this phone.

The phone is definitely style over substance fron what I can tell.

Maybe the Voyager/Venus/Pearl would lend themselves to the premium plans... in my instance.
