I just switched to Verizon wireless. I have an LG-VX9200 phone. Reception is terrible near my house and I am 600 feet from a verizon cell tower. About 60% dropped calls. Another thing I get 3-4 bars of EV signal and zero or maybe one bar of 1X signal which is backwards from what I understand. Any ideas???

Well, i've had more EV-DO Signal then 1X before, if that's what you mean. as for the low signal, have you tried the basic things, like doing a *228 update and a battery pull, turning off microwaves or tv's to see if they are causing interference, etc....
