Is it the 25th of June? I'm loving the looks and specs, since I don't want to wait for the 8000. What will the retail price be? Any rumors or inside info. yet?
OK Great. Thanks a lot guys. I'll be counting the days now! What's the normal time frame, or, better stated, how long does it usually take before the price comes down? $249 is a bit out of my range, but it shouldn't be too "terribly long" before there's a price drop as other new phones comes out, right? What about rebates? A lot of the VZ phones have MIR's on them right now. Any info. on whether or not the 7k will have one?
OUCH! I hope there are rebates attached to those prices. I was expecting to see prices like that for the Moto V710, but for the LG VX7000? Ugh.
I just received my latest Maxim Mag today in the mail, & there was a full-page ad showing the VZW LG VX7000. That phone looks kinda yucky. Thought I would share...
i've learned not to believe nor go by speculation even if it's from "the most reliable sources" especially at Hofo, and at those prices, it makes even more doubtfull, but that's just me, even Ceno who has been very reliebale in providing us with good info on upcoming phones doesn't give us exact dates due to Verizon's strong "secret" (per say) policy, why would this Verizon employee just give out dates and prices just like that? again he could be right but until i see it, i won't speculate...
He's saying that THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW for sure about anything when it comes to phone releases. I get so sick of reading posts that claim KNOWN release dates. I'm willing to bet that none are ever even close to being correct. HoFo is notorious for having these false claims of release dates/prices... let's not start that here!
Well, the fat that I just got this date and price information confirmed by the sales manager who runs my favorite Verizon store is also pretty telling. As far as he is concerned, unless something goes wrong, this is the release date and the release price scheme. He didn't mention rebates and I didn't ask. He simply confirmed the information I gave him. As far as the "source" I quoted, I trust them 99% for the simple reason that they haven't been wrong anytime in the last year.
so people probably do get insider info that is true. Problem is next day something goes wrong and the release date or price changes for the phone. So the best rule of thumb don't beleive it 100% until you see it! :twocents:
I got the demo model today and I have to say, it has got to be the biggest flp phone that I have ever seen! I think its even bigger than the 610. The outside display is big though.
Is that a bad thing? We're only talking about a few millimeters anyway, right? I think the features are so cool, who cares how big or small.
Unlike the 670 the 7k says that it does support video messaging. Does anyone have any info on how much the service will cost? Also it said that the videos can be sent to any email address, but it didn't mention any verizon wireless phone.
I'm looking for a new identity.... And your social security number is? Ok by the way that date is good. This phone will have Video Messaging unlike the A670...yeah...15 second messages.
well it's the 25th (er...26th, it's 2am and I can't sleep) and still no VX7000...I imagine they'll launch this phone at the same time as video messaging, so who knows when that will be. I'm not getting my hopes up.
Actually Verizon posted the original release date on Eroes, their own credit and activations system. So don't always assume that these release dates are based on hearsay because I had that date in writing from Verizon. The only reason why they pushed it back is because they wanted to correspond the release of video messaging with the release of video messaging capable phones.
So I guess maybe it won't be long til we see either the VX7000 or the V710? I am putting all of my eggs into the V710 though. The next phone I try through Verizon has to be a tri-band phone. It is my last effort to keep a Verizon signal in my house. If that phone isn't any better then hello Cingular!
