LG vx4400 error

    I have tried Gagin, but I can not get to see my phone out of COM1 or 2 port. So went and downloaded Bitpim and now it get this error:

    An unexpected exception has occurred.
    Please report the following information to the developers

    at least it's see my phone. I downloaded all the software, still can't get pass that point.

    Wireless Provider(s):
    Verizon
    make sure the com port on your computer matches the com port setting with BitPim.

    I've been using BitPim for awhile, and I do get errors like that every once in awhile....Usually I can proceed as normal.

    Sometimes I either have to restart BitPim, turn the phone on and off, or both....
