I just bought the LG VX4400 with a standard and extended battery. Please list how the average talk-time/standby time you get with your standard battery (just for comparison).

    I get...
Standard battery life: little over two days stand by with about 2 hours of talk time (lots of short duration calls).
Extended battery life: I'm still on my first cycle and it's been a little over one day with about 30 mins of talk time and it's lost one battery bar.

Im just curious if anyone has matched wirless.cnet.com LGVX4400's battery performance of 3.5 hours of talk time and 122 hours of stand-by

i got about 3 days from the regular battery on the "first charge" and then about 4 hours on the second charge. i didnt talk at all on the second charge and the battery was very hot for about an huor after i took it out of the charger.

is this normal? i am assuming not.
i will be returning the phone AGAIN in the 11 days i have had it.

i am very tired of all the problems.

Looks like the search police have hit this post too.

I get two full days talking about 30 minutes a day (standard battery)

The Cnet rating gives you the two extremes.
    1. Taking the phone off the charger and making one phone call lasting 3.5 hours in digital.
    2. Taking the phone off the charger and not touching anything, not even flipping the phone open.

Most people don't use their phones in this manner so will not get the results that Cnet posts.

Yup, this happens to me a lot. I'll have a full battery meter showing and I will talk maybe for 20 mins and then battery meter will go down to 1 bar. I'll look at it later and it'll go up to 3 bars.

Yes, Jay. Mine does this as well. I guess it's better than going down to one bar and staying there. I have no explanation for this, though I'm sure one of our techie friends can enlighten us!
