I'm in northern, NJ and have the LG VX3300, it gets good reception here. I don't like how it doesn't have Get It Now, though. It makes it difficult to get or make ringtones.
I have used this phone for 11 months... it works wonderfully as a phone The thing is ok; I enjoyed the removable faceplates. I didnt care for the ringtones, so I recorded some tones. The Auto Volume is great also. The other quirk with this phone is the fact I couldnt make calls if the phone displayed 1 bar for the signal (but that was rare). i got the phone about a month and ahalf ago and it has been working great for me i just dont like how you cant view txt messages from the outside by pressing the Play button i think they might add that option on in an upgrade does anyone no when they are gonna come out with a software upgrade to this phone?
The VX 3300 doesn't have an external display to begin with. I believe that they are going to discontinue this model; the 3300 has been out for 13 months and VZW just released the VX3400 and VX3450 (both are basic phones w/ external displays). Maybe you are thinking about the VX8300 (it's a music phone with the play button lol)
yea i have the 8300 lol but on the 8100 you can press play and read txts .. i thought that maybe in a software upgrade they might enable that to the 8300 but when is the next software update?
