Does anyone have personal experience with the reception between the LG vx3200 and the LG vx6000? I had the 4500, but it wasn't getting good enough reception (lots of dropping out of words in the call). And yes, I did get it replaced once. Now I have the vx3200. It gets just good enough reception, but I'm wondering if I could get better voice quality and similar reception on the LG vx6000...

If anyone has personal experience, I would love to know (I'm still in the 15 day return period).

Will, my only experience is with the 4400. I had the same experience with the words being dropped. I solved the problem by using the debug menu. Hit menu then 0 then 000000 then 5 then when it says evrc set it to false, set the other categories to 13 they will be set to 8. You are changing from 8 watts evrc to 13 watts, codec. There is a full explanation of this conversion in the old forum. Use search word EVRC. I am sure you will be happy with the results. Just please get back to us and let us know the results.

5 is the data menu on the 3200. I have tried forcing the mode on my phone to "P_Rev 4 Only", but it didn't seem to make a difference other than that I no longer got my voice mail.

Will when you are in debug menu, get to field test Then go to voice s/o. Then follow the prior instructions. Our phones must be set up a little different. This has nothing to do with prev ver 4 etc. That did not help me either.
