The new LG VX 3100 is out at the VZW store here in suburban Phila. It is a very nice slim metal clam shell (flip) with NO outside LCD. The buttons are easier to dial than the VX 10. Look it up@ http://www.lgmobilephones.com/products/product_detail.php?p=30 OR http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?id=272
Nevermind. Upon further examination I see it's going for the simplicity. It's basically to LG what the V60 series is to Motorola.
Actually the VX 10 is more like the V60. The 3100 is even more sparse, NO outside LCD or LED, at least the V60 has those. Yet the style is very nice and the buttons work easier than the VX 10. PLUS; GPS. Its slimmer and has a nice smooth metalic feel. Some of us don't want whiz bang games or color etc. , we just want a good phone, even those of us who have been doing wireless for a very long time. ( see below)
Yeah, but the V60 has the top-notch styling, a big reason why it continues to sell yet only be changed in small areas. I believe this 3100 has got the VX-10 beat in that department. As much as I like my T720, I know the V60 is a better made/styled phone.
