Hi. My dad wants to get me the new Verizon LG voyager for christmas, but I'm on a prepaid plan right now, and he isn't sure if the voyager works with prepaid. Does anyone know if it does or doesnt? and if so, will i still be able to have all the features like Vcast and internet?
Please help, it's greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Mellie if you check out verizon's website under prepaid plans, there's a list of the phones that are compatible with verizon's prepaid service. Here's the linkEnter your location
if you take a look at it, the voyager is not listed on their handset offerings. You may want to check with verizon customer service since the voyager is a fairly new addition to the verizon lineup. If you want the voyager pretty badly and since your dad is being cool enough to buy it for you, you may want to just see if you qualify for a regular verizon plan.

    Hi there,

In order to get a Voyager you will have to be on a Nationwide Post-Paid Plan. The Voyager is not available on Prepaid plans or older America's Choice Plans unfortunately.

    Merry Christmas!

thanks for the info! can you give me some specific pros and cons though? i want to make the best decision possible since with verizon the phone costs are so expensive up front....

  9. i'm using a venus at the moment but doing everything within my power to switch to the voyager :p its a LOT nicer. i mean, the venus and 8550 chocolate are nice, but, like the other guy said they just don't compare.
