Well, you don't have to buy one.

Well I agree somewhat....... but it does give Alltel a current qwerty non-smartphone.

Alltel has been needing a basic phone with a keyboard. This should fill the void.

The Kyocera M1000 was, I thought, the Strobe-in-waiting. It looked much better than the Strobe but I guess that isn't going to happen. At least being released with Alltel, anyway. :(

The Strobe and 7135 were the only good Kyoceras I've ever seen. All other Kyoceras (especially the SoHo) were horrible.

I am an Alltel customer and my contract ends in May. I hope this phone is out by then because i really do not like any of the phones they have now. I hate the razors. I will buy the LG Wave if i have to. My current phone is an LG and it is the best phone I have ever had. The only problem I have is that it is not bluetooth. So when my contract runs out I will be getting a bluetooth phone no matter what so that I get a discount. I would love a full keyboard. Last month i sent over 1000 text messages but i only used 20 anytime minutes and may 20 of my night and weekend minutes or my circle numbers. This phone is perfect for me. I do not want a smart phone because I do not want to have a microsoft phone. My moms moto q keeps messing up and she has only had it for a month.

I hope this phone comes out soon. LG is a great brand.

I'm really hoping this phone is coming out soon. Don't get me wrong, I like my RAZR, but the v3m is becoming a bit dated... and since I text 5 times as much as I make phone calls, a full keyboard would be quite nice.
