The touch screen on my LG Glimmer has been real off. I've tried calibrating it with my finger and with the pen, but no matter how many times, it has the strangest problems. It's impossible to text and impossible to navigate menus.

Whenever I'm typing a text, I can press anywhere and it will sometimes just hit the end button, the send button, or the back button. Sometimes the back button keeps held down even though I don't have a single finger on the screen and it just deletes the entire text.

Then, there's always a problem where when I want to hit one letter and then it's the letter under it or above it in a text.

So, it's impossible to navigate menus since everything relies on the touch screen, and that's the main problem. If I go to contacts, it's impossible to select a contact. I try to select a contact, and instead the menu just jumps down about seven names. I have no idea why this happens at all.

If I try to go to a menu, the same stuff happens. If I try to navigate the menus it won't recognize me touching it or will jump down to the bottom, like I said previously. Does anyone else have these problems?

I took it to an Alltel representative. His method was to take the battery out. That was it. He rushed me out of the door, not even giving me a chance to talk. It worked for about ten minutes, but now it's back in the same position, almost impossible to use.

Call *611 and push the options for tech support and ask for an eXchange By Mail (XBM).

This option will only work IF the phone is still under warranty (the OP never stated how old the phone was) and IF this is a manufacturer defect. TS would prefer it to be brought back to the store and have it re-evaluated, but be a little more forceful when dealing with the rep.

If it's a Glimmer it's under warranty barring water damage, etc.

The phones sucks. I have 3 sense november, And am waiting on the next warranty phone in the mail as i type this.

The problem with mine have been the bottom part of the touch screan quites. As you said, you can reset it, use the wond thing etc. nothing happens. Mine will go from working fine to, no matter what you touch it doese nothing, to texting wrong words and numbers. Say you want to text sometihng with JKL in the world. You get nohting or ABC.. Doese the same with the 7 key (PQRS) and 9.
