OKAY!!!!!!!! I am really thinking about returning this phone... 2 reaons ae listed above in my first post. The next would be that in places where cingular does not the best service/reception i would always be able to make a call without it ever breaking up. with my LG, it breaks up even when i have 3 bars. My razr wouldn't do that till i didn't have a bar!!! I think i wanna upgrade to the Razr V3xx instead of this lg. the v3xx is the 3G version of the razr. So i am hoping it will be better than the razr i already had. Tell me what u think!!!!

As far as I know, the answer to your first question is No. Ascending ring loudness is something many people have complained about on PhoneScoop and HoFo, but I haven't read about any way of changing this. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all. My CU500 is usually on my belt clip or in my pocket, set to both ring and vibrate. I get the picture soon enough. :D

You should be able to go to any URL. I have brought my CU500 to T-Mobile and I don't remember MediaNet all that well, but on either service, when you are on any website, you can press the right softkey when the label is Options. One of the options is URL, which lets you type in any URL. If you have done this, and you know the website is WAP compliant, and you still can't get it, call Cingular Customer Service.

    Good luck!

Can't compare the CU500 to the RAZR V3xx, as I have no experience with the RAZR. It's new, so there are not many user reports yet, but it's getting pretty good reviews on Phonescoop.

I had asked that question specifically on Phonescoop's forums. The response I got was that the rf was similar to the respondent's Nokia N80, and they were pleased.
