Just picked up an 8300 to replace my 8100. Like it so far, but the USB wont recognize it so I can use it with BitPim. It has been a long time since I used BitPim, so help me out with what I need to do from here. I want to add MP3's as ringtones.

Also, is there a way to enable reading text on the front like my 8100 did?

    Thanks

I can't help you with BitPim, but as far as reading text on the outside, it can't be done on the 8300. Congrats on your 8300, it is a very nice phone, I had one myself for a few months.

Yeah, I do like it so far. I think the text cant be read on the outside cause the resolution isnt nearly as good on the exterior screen as the 8100. I loved my 8100 but it was on its way out. This has some pros & cons over it, but I am sure net result I will be happy..

Just gotta get my MP3s as ring tones thru BitPim and I will be set.
