CNET has just reviewed the LG 5350 sold by Sprint PCS. Apparently it did pretty well too earning a 8 out of 10 from CNET and earning a Editor's Choice Award. To read the review click on the link below. LG 5350
I'm now considering the LG 5350 with the great review it received from CNET. I think I've ruled out the Samsung N400. The A500 is just too expensive. The Kyocera 2345 is very similar to my 2255 so I don't really see the point in that one. Maybe I'll wait for the Sanyo 6400 and then decide.
CNET is usually pretty picky with their phone reviews. I was suprised it received such a good review and a editor's choice award. I've heard good things about that LG though, so maybe they made a good phone for Sprint PCS finally.
The LG 5350 seems like a good phone. I wonder how it holds up in fringe areas (aka my apartment he..he). I wonder why the samsung A460 made editors choice. Besides its really nice style and looks, it is horrible. I wonder if sanyo took into account the heating up issue when redesigning for the 6400. If so, I would definitely consider buying it. Very impressive for such a thin phone.
I live in a PCS fringe area. I have gotten much better reception at my house with the 5350 than I did with my 2200. I normally get two bars now where I was just hanging on or dropping calls before.
