Yeah, I think they decided "push to stab" is too similar to a recently trademarked Nextel product called "push to die", so Kill it Now will do.
Back to the topic at hand Can any of you VZW employees get more info about this phone from your KYO reps??? As in, klunking them over the head, dragging them into a dark office and shinning a very bright light in their face?
As of Aug 18th my Kyocera infomant no longer represents Kyocera Wireless or Qualcomm. Gotta find another mole :\
No new info to report. Heard a rumor we would be testing it, but nothing available on the intranet yet.
No other Verizon employees have any information on if this phone is being tested or even looked at by Verizon? CDMA, Brew....geese, help a brother out.
ARRRGHHH. The Slider is the kind of phone my wife and I could introduce into our love making. That give you any idea how much I like this phone???
Verizon's response was useless. "Phones are tested first before they are released" I know idget....my question was is the SE47 Slider currently undergoing Verizon testing?
From the Kyocera forum.....and I feel all icky when I go there.... spoke to my buddy at my local VZW store in NYC and Verizon is supposed to release the Slider sometime before the end of the year as well. Let's hope that his information is accurate. The Slider phone has been a runaway hit in Korea. It is the must-have phone - so much so that Samsung and LG came out with their own slider-style phones.
theres a siemens phone that is very similar to the Kyo one, very popular in the GSM world, seems to be a great sucess speaking of GSM, did you know that someone Cracked the GSM code? they can get everything they need to know about you plus listen to your convo with some pretty expensive equipment, but IT CAN BE CRACKED!@| GOOOOOOOOOOOOO CDMA!
Anyone know for a fact that Verizon is testing it? Geeese, you would think you were trying to get top secret plans to the nations missle defence systems when you try to find out what phones are coming up. Hopefully because this phone was a huge success in Korea, some of the Verizon execs will actually earn their executive bonuses and come up with the million dollar idea. "Maybe we should carry that phone?"
I see the thread was moved. Would probably make better sense if the forums were arranged by wireless provider not just phone manufacturer.
Actually have a woman.....my wife and I were hoping to introduce the Kyocera Slider into our love making ;-) That give you an idea how bad I want this phone????
It's alright, CW. I once wanted to make love to a rumored Motorola phone that never made it. It was the V60e. Sleek. All the right parts a man could ever want, and she knew how to treat a person. Made you feel good. Unfortunately she only existed amongst my dreams. Those dreams that only come about once in a lifetime..
What about if you sign up with Verizon and activate your own handset not utilizing the new customer discount? i activated my own V60i 17 days ago, rep told me that that i could but not sure if that offer will be good for me in lets say jan if the slider SE47 comes out....
