Does anybody have any opinions on Kyoceras? They're offered with Verizon's pre-paid plans.

    Thanks,

    Jake

I'm happy with my 2255 which is a Sprint version. Battery life seems to be good and it has a lot of features for the price.

Of the three (four, if you count the double entry of the 2035) Kyocera phones rated on Epinions.com, they all seem to meet with high user appreciation.

I was going to write a review for the 2255 but it's not yet listed on the site.

I've been very happy with it so far. Earpiece volume is loud and battery life is great for such a small phone. It also has some neat features such as screen savers, calculator, and 4 games. Radio shack is having a good offer on it right now I think for $80.

Larry! You missed a beat, man. Advertise!!

Larry has started a user's group for the phone and already (from inception on 12/3 to today, 12/8; a mere 5 days) has 18 users.

You can find it at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Sprintusers

I would have to agree with Kevin and Larry on this one out of the phones Verizon currently has the Kyocera 2255 is a good buy and the 2235 is great also i have found very few returns on these phone in the New York area. I personally just don't like the style of Kyocera I just think there phones are a little strange looking to me but other wise they are good phones you do get a year warranty as well

Some of them are a little strange looking such as the 3035 and the 2035 looked and felt very cheap. That's why I waited for the 2255. It's a big improvement in looks and features over the 2035.
