I realize Kodak has tried to diversify since film is basically obsolete, but I wouldn't have thought they would get into cell phones. Then again, the phone has a 21MP camera, so maybe having a great camera on the phone will let then get a small amount of the market https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875672001&ignorebbr=1
Good catch! Maybe that one at NewEgg is from overseas. The Kodak site says: LTE 2/4/5/7/12/17 (Cat 4) https://www.kodak.com/US/en/consumer/Product/Product_Specs/?contentId=4294998620&TaxId=4294970150https://www.kodak.com/US/en/consumer/Product/Product_Specs/?contentId=4294998620&TaxId=4294970150
That's certainly better although I believe AT&T's band 30 has been live for a while now and it's still missing. But for a phone (even wannabe) to launch with Android Marshmallow in 2017 is (IMHO) inexcusable.
Didn’t Nokia try that route with Zeiss? Motorola too. It’s more than just a camera. Got to be good in everything, imho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You're right, it's has to be good in everything. I had a Nokia N8 and 808 and the camera was really good. In fact, there are still 808 photo groups on the net. Nokia was not real popular in the states at that time due to the phones being unlocked and carriers not wanting to sell unlocked phones. They were popular in Europe, plus there was a big Symbian following overseas.
Looks interesting . I’ve been looking at Hauwai phones and Asus also. My moto x has been doing some rather funky things so I’m keeping my options open in case I can’t straighten it out!
I'm phone shopping too, I looked at the Kodak phone, but the reviews are not good. Apparently, although it has a high MP rating, it does not live up to its hype as far as image quality goes.
