Oh and in regards to the Nokia phone I talked about in previous post, I saw today in the file I referred to that most of the phones had an expected release date but for the Nokia model it had TBD lolz.

I heard it's going to be the typical $499 pricing with $150-$200 in MIR for it with 2 year service.

Yes that is what I heard. Also it seems that there is one in the pipe line which is a dual slider (one for keyboard and one for the dial pad) but that one does not have Wifi or GPS. I also heard that these plus many more seem to be on the pipe line with in the next 2 months so by October we could see a whole new line up of smart phones comming to AT&T.

That's what I've heard too. Alot of new PDAs and other 3G phones coming out.

Maybe with all these new 3G phones being released they'll roll out the 3G network a little bit faster.

I'd like to see a 3G version of the HP iPAQ hw6515. I love my iPAQ, just hate the slow data.

The LG Trax was released today. And at&t will definitely be released the Razr 2 in early September.

What do you mean? I'm not sure if the Trax has been out for a week or not.. I got an email about it today and with more info about the V9..so I don't know.

Been playing with my Blackjack too much later. Once I figured out how to edit the registry and delete all the media mall ____e I've been busy.

Sorry I meant about teh V9 if it would be out in the second week in September. I was told by some one that that is the time and it should be between the10th and 12th of the month.

I want to echo the interest in SE phones. I have an aging z520a, and if it weren't for the fact that it occasionally drops calls, I wouldn't even be doing a preliminary look for a new phone. (A friend lent me her old RAZR V3 and trying that out is making me love the Sony even more).

PhoneScoop has info and two very positive reviews on a z550a, which looks perfect, but only SunCom has it. The SE site also has some interesting options, so I'm hoping AT&T will start adding them to the lineup soon. Anyone have any idea if such a thing might be in the works?

Okay, that's got potential! Do we know for sure that AT&T's going to have it, and before the end of the year? (Or have a reasonable indication of either?)

 

To tell you the truth,no Cingular/AT&T are not usually accurate as to the time frames. I feel confident since the W810i and the Z520 was discontinued AT&T needs to come up with a replacement,let's cross our fingers and hope Santa Claus comes early or on time.

As far as I know T-Mobile is not know for carrying SE's so that could mean the Z750 and the K850i will be in AT&T's line up 4th quarter. I have to admit I am eyeing the K850i,aside of the talk time it looks to be quite the phone.

Hmm, the Z310 doesn't look too bad, though I see it's tri-band rather than quad-band. What areas are affected by the lack of a GSM 900 band? The z750 looks better overall, but if I get impatient, the 310 would probably be a reasonable fallback option.

(Can anyone explain what PhoneScoop means by "Ringer profiles"? I clicked but their definition didn't really clear things up for me. The only thing that would disappoint me about the z750 would be an inability to assign different ringtones to different people, but I'm not sure if that's what they mean.)
