It doesn't show as available today in 02138 (in or out of stock). Is it only out in some parts of the country?

Re: Cingular Phones Coming Soon! *** UPDATED 3/6/07 ***

I checked the Phonescoop and HoFo forums on the Nokia N75. Some people successfully ordered it in the short time it was available on the site. Apparently everyone who ordered it (at least those who reported their experiences), is being told it is on backorder. It appears that AT&T/Cingular put the page up before they actually had any stock, so it instantly went on backorder. Then they removed it from the available phones list. They are telling clients that they will have stock next week or the following week.

Here's the big story on Engadget. Film at 11:00 !! :D : AT&T botches Nokia N75 launch, pulls from site

Now I am wondering if the Nokia company stores are going to have it.

The Nokia N75 is now available on cingular.com. Interestingly, it is not listed as a Smartphone (but the Nokia E62, also a Symbian S60 device, is). Go figure.

    Here's the bottom line:

    Price ..........................$399.99
    2-yr Contract Price......$249.99
    Mail-In Rebate ...........- $50.00
    *Online Price .............$199.99

Sweet & UMTS & HSDPA on top of it. I just don't know about the number keys being so close together.
I can't get one of these even if I wanted to, can't afford the data plans. but nice to dream

Yes I like it will not be as bad once you use it for a week or so (similar situation with the BB8800). But if Cingular ever comes out with a shared data plan that would be great. But I have to say their PDA data rates are getting better as we go along and the current unlimted is not bad and if you have the use of it then it is worth every penny. With my BB the use of the map apps, IM+ (for IM using data) and other data intensive programs as well as email it has been worth it big time. If this is as good as I think I might give it a try and se if it takes me away from BBs. Hopefully the OS will be stable and solid this time around.

AT&T's HSDPA capable phones are pretty big, huh? Not necessarily fat-wise, but in overall dimension.

I want both the Q9 and the new RAZR2. I hope the new RAZR2 isn't bigger than my head when flipped open.

Its nice to know that they are moving to this phone. I'd love to have one. I don't qualify for an upgrade till the fall though.

This is good news for you by the time the testing is done it should hoepfully be out just in time for your upgrade qualification.

Just found some new info on soon to be released phones. In the next few months

    Lg Cu 575
Samsung A110 - Guess we'll finally have the jitterbug phone.
    Samsung A117
    Samsung A437
    Nokia 6282
Motorla C168i [This one is already advertised on the site, but I'm guess they're going to begin selling it for post-paid accounts.]
    Pantech C150
    Nokia 6085

Found those at work and came out and looked around on the web and found those corresponding links.

I don't want to jinx myself, but so far my SE has been the best phone I have ever owned.:)

I had thought about them today, but they seem so small & I wasn't sure if it would work ok for me.

They haven't had a new phone released in awhile so I'm sure some new ones are in the works..

Can this really be true? The 6282 was rumored to be an upcoming phone in early 2006 (after a "release event" in NYC in late 2005). There are excited posts about it on Phonescoop going back to March 2006, a post claiming a "confirmed release" in April and then a cycle of confusion and disappointment going through September. I was interested in this phone at the time. I actually took several hours out of an Italian vacation in the spring of 2006, visiting phone stores in Milan, just so I could touch the European version (6280). The saga of this phone was one of the things that convinced me to never believe the rumors I find on Phonescoop and HoFo. In this thread Bobolito has been more cautious and tries not to engender false hope.

Anyway, this phone seems a little last year, doesn't it? Not quad-band, no flight mode, miniSD rather than microSD memory. And is AT&T really going to release it with a functioning FM radio? That would reverse their trend of crippling Nokia phones with this feature.

TehJoE234797 - I'd be interested in your confidence level in this information.

Off that list, I can only confirm the Samsung A537 (or A437 - could be a typo) and A737. And from LG, we'll get the CU575 and CE110.

There's also the much anticipated RAZR 2 V9 (codename "Wildcat") which I've already posted here.

As for when these may see the light, we're talking about late summer/early fall timeframe.

Mobiledia has been putting the Nokia 6282 in the "upcoming" section since last year. So I would take that as information that is long overly outdated.

So you don't think it'll be a repeat of 6126 release for 6282 and 6085?

Maybe not the original versions. We could get a modified version of the 6282. But don't count on a phone without 850 make it to AT&T.

The 6126 was different because it was already quadband from the original version.

Good point, I completely forgot about 6282 being tri-band.

I realy wonder what is going on with SE. I am overseas right now and looking at what the SE's main dealer has, did not impress me at all and it seems that SE has been dormant with new releases lately. He did tell me that there are some due some time later this summer. At least I got to see the P1 which is not bad. But over all, all what I saw are Euro Tri bands and they did not have one quad in stock.

Now I can say that the roker replacement (aka L9) seems to be a real good phone and I have not seen any thing that point to it being on the at&t list. As to the Razr2, well it has been released over here but the dealer is out of stock and the price for it here is around the $325 and I was told that it is better than the Razr but all prefred the Nokia N76 over it (and this one sells for $425).
