Wow, now that i got all that dust off of my profile, how’s everyone? It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I still see some familiar names. Well me, i think I’m gonna be switching providers from Verizon to TMobile and from my IPhone 8+ to Samsung Note 9, still contemplating going back to Android after so many years with IOS, we’ll see. Happy 1st day of December
Hey, I think I remember you. What’s prompting the switch to Android? Happy December 1 to you as well. Sent from my iPhone X
How's the fire situation by you? We were just visiting friends out in Santa Barbara who had to evacuate last year.
That was like 20 miles up north from me so everything’s good in my area, thank you for asking. Sent from my iPhone 8+
Well, well, well...look what the cat dragged in. Android is where it's at, DJ Tony E. Welcome back to a real OS.
Hey big brother, good to know you’re still in the neighborhood!!! Thank you for that welcome!!!! Yes, I am going Android, will soon be changing that sig to read “Galaxy Note 9” Sent from my iPhone 8+
Thank you so much, yes everything is good, hope things are good with you as well, so good to see familiar names are still around. Sent from my iPhone 8+
Things are good for me too. Glad to hear you are doing well and it's hard to believe how fast time is flying. Seems like only yesterday we were all posting like crazy. Great to see you posting again! Take care, Tony.
I've been working so much, I haven't seen this thread until now. Anyway, good to see you around again. My current phone is an Essential PH-1, and I've been loving it. A nice, bloatware free install of Android, and timely updates. This phone just keeps getting better and better.
Does it allow you to delete any apps you want, except those necessary for the phone to operate? My Turbo 2's battery is on its last legs, so I'm looking at options to upgrade soon.
It doesn't have anything not necessary to run the phone! It was so strange when I booted it up for the first time, there was nothing on the screen except the dialer app, camera app, messaging app, and the email app.
If you want a PH1, get one fast. Inventory is selling out, and Essential said they won't be making any more PH1's as they are working on their next phone, but they have made it clear that the PH1 will continue to get regular updates. Currently, there's an Android update by the 5th of each month.
