just got my 5300

Welcome Sanyo 5300 owner. You will definitely be pleased with this phone. I've had mine for a month and I am still fascinated with it. All I can say is WOW!!!

No, the batteries dont come pre-charged, but you can use the wall plug and use it like that mean while the battery charges. The batteries really dont take long to charge, especially when you just get it and want to mess with it. You should let it them charge after the initial excitment from the phone though. Enjoy it

Man, I slept on the couch downstairs last night so I wouldn't miss the fedex dude (to my wife's dismay). Now it loks like I have to wait even longer!

Box, So I can just go and get it after 10:30, hehehe. My GF has my phone, so i'm getting a new one and CANT wait. hehehehe

got mine 2 days ago and i frikin luv it people are so fascinated by the technolodgy and i have way better reception among other beter features then my LG5350 wich i liked aswell but this is well worth the $378 i paid..lol ^5 guys!!

 

Yeah, Sanyo is KNOWN for its great reception, thats why when I got the 5150 and later on wanted to upgrade, I didnt want to get anything else but a Sanyo, but Sanyo hadnt come out with a new phone I liked. I was about to get the Samsung, but i was hesitant about it, but once I saw the 5300, I jumped on it. I payed $329 for mine but with S&H it was $349 and its ALL worth it.

 

Sleeping on the couch again LOL, wife has to work tomorrow (not me) so I am NOT going to miss sleeping through the Fedex person's visit.

Phone has made it to Michigan, I WILL have it by 10:30am damn it!!!!!

Now to get: The USB cable / car charger / cell phone case / and software, etc.

Question: If I pay for a game and download it to the phone, can I transfer it to my PC w/ the cable for preservation of phone memory, and so I can load it back to the phone again at a later date?

 

Hmm great question about transfering to puter via cable/sync i havnty ordered my cable yet...

and good luck on the delivery tomarrow mornin... i think my g/f is sick of me showing off my phone as i take pictures of everything and send them to e-mail or uloading the www.pictures.sprintpcs.com lol she says im like a 12 year old again....i said im 30 i need to rejuevenate my youth..lol have fun with yur phone dude..

Got the phone a few minutes ago, all I can say is WOW. It is a marvel of engineering.

Felt weird giving the sprint chick my social security number. I probably woulda given her my left nut if I had to by that point.

w00t, sent an email and browsed the net for my 1st time on a cell phone!

fro..................lolololol i woulda gave my left nut as well but my g/f already had them both for buying the phone.. i told her i would give alot up for this phone as i was kidding about it she thought i meant her...lol all in all it is only a phone. BUT IM SO in static over technology these days lil things amuse me...have fun with phone!!! wait till u set up yur web album and upload pics u will never need a camera again and all the pics u didnt take before because of space on camera or not being close to camera to download yur digital camera pics and buying film etc never have worries agan being somewhere with no film or room on camera its great...
