Re: New drivers yet to transfer pics to PC?? Just letting you all know- I purchased the Data Pilot software and cable for my wife's LG LX350, and it works beautifully! It transfers images, phonebook, and calendar. Due to the limitations of the phone, however, the transfer of images is only one way- from phone to PC, not the other way around. Phonebook and Calendar functions supposedly go both ways, however (I have not yet tried it). While the software works great, it was somewhat of a pain to get the PC to recognize the drivers necessary for the phone to work. It took quite a lot of tinkering. But once that obstacle was resolved, it worked great.... Z
I also just got an LG LX350. Seems like you can't transfer files through bluetooth. But I found a link to a guy who says he was able to do it. ****************************************** (http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/919562-1.html) Posted by: Teacakeanyone Granted I'm not very familiar with my new phone either, but this all depends on your use of Bluetooth. I very successfully moved 79 contacts from my Apple's Address Book over to my lx350 using bluetooth transfer. I've also successfully uploaded a new background and ringtones to my phone via an upload site (there are several, including http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/). I've never tried to get pics or vids from the phone *back* to the computer, though. However I have a feeling it can be done, if not through bluetooth transfer then through the wonders of BitPim. Good luck, BIP! ******************************* I just don't know how he did it. Is there anyone else who has replicated this feat?
