    Hi

I was wondering if there's a way to flash the T720 to get it to display menus in Japanese? Thanks

I agree, it's totally off topic and inappropriate.

Yes I am in America and being in America I have the freedom of speech regardless of if its in English or in Japanese or Jiberish or Alien for all it matters...... So why don't you get a life?
    Omae aho jya nai? Shinei.........

And yes it would be nice if we could have Japanese font's or capabilities on our phone........seems phones and other products are always English, Spanish, French, like its a world wide standard or something........ Its funny how the Samsung phones in America don't even have a Korean option...but I guess its made for the american market so can't help it........ Just like some Japanese Cars are only in Japan and some are only in America...... just my 2-cents...... let the flames begin........

Back to topic: the CDMA version of the T720 probably isn't marketed in Japan, so I doubt that a Japanese version of the firmware exists. CDMA, as far as I know, doesn't exist in Japan.

actually it did use to exist but they did away with it i'm certain. I haven't been back to Japan in a while so i'm not sure but when I asked my friends that are there about it they all don't know about it....... and they have never seen the Motorola phone I have either......... Everyone up there is currently so in to "Sha-mail" they have such nice camera phones....and the cameras are all built in and the phones are the same size as our T720 no attachments necessary or anything............ as usual we are always about 1 to 2 years behind. Oh well............ Funny that Modtones is run by Faith Inc. who is the company that does all the ringtones in Japan for NTT Docomo's I-mode and well as KDDI's (AU) but offer no Japanese ringtones on the American Modtones website and are so limited when alot of the songs are already existing on the Japanese Websites...such as lets say Back to the Futures Theme song, available in Japan but not on Modtones... go figure??? Anyway at least all this Verizon and T720 things seem to be improving day by day and not getting worse........ I was with AT&T for 6 years and changed to Verizon just for this phone!!! So it better be worth it........peace......

They simply can't incorporate every language into their phones, thus they choose the most widely spoken. But really, what's it matter what language your phone is in as long as you can read and understand it? Thats the whole objective here.
