I did a search on Amazon.com and found this for about $80. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...-8530338-8799050?v=glance&s=wireless&n=507846 Is this the one that will work with the Motorola v710? The reason I ask is that the VZ website has one for something like $129! What's the difference? Thanks everyone!
The Verizon one has an adapter unit for use with non-bluetooth phones with 2.5 mm jacks (or at least it appears to from the description). I actually bought one of those once (from Best Buy, not Verizon), but didn't like how it felt in my ear, and it had a funky sensitivity-adjustment you had to tweak. The Amazon one looks like the model without the 2.5 mm adapter (which I'd seen somewhere for $100 once). But if you have a v710, I strongly recomment the HS820 headset (I got mine from hellomoto.com for $80 plus tax/shipping). It's comfortable, has no adjustments (other than earpiece volume) and I've been told it sounds very clear from the other end.
Just FYI - the HS820 is available from VZW stores for $79 with a MIR for either a free Y-charging cable or $20 back.
I bought mine from VZW online for $51.99. Someone posted a business link that allowed you to link to a discounted VZW page on phonescoop. I cant refind the link though. I searched the v710 forum for 51.99 but couldnt find it. Got it today, 2 day fedex free I still think the Jabra is better
