Ive got Ver 06 on my computer how can i upload ?

    I downloaded the new vx4400 ver 06 onto my computer. How can i update it to the phone ? if anyone wants it just join one of the vx4400 yahoo groups its posted there

    You can only flash the phone if you have the LGPST s/w , which no one seems to have at the moment, sorry. [​IMG]

    theres a button that says JOIN on the page fill out the form after hitting the button do a search for vx4400 and the groups will come up. if you cant find the groups go to yahoo and type yahoo groups in the search engine

    There is no way to get the software unless someone gets it off of Verizon's computers...doesn't sound very legal to me. [​IMG]

    There is really no point in downlaoding the software update at this point since you can't do anything with it. The only chance you would have is to put it on a disk, take it into a VZW store, and ask them to do it...that probably isn't likely to happen either.

    I've seen in some forums where people have acquired this software from Verizon.

    However, from what I understand, even with the software, it would still be useless to us.

    On top of needing the software, you also need a certain cable that has a special connector on it that sends a signal to the computer "authenticating" the upgrade...Without this adapter, the software alone won't do the upgrade.

    The people who do have the software (again...This is jusre from rumors I've read) are trying to crack it...You'll just have to wait and see...Ulitmately, your best bet is to take the phone to VZW.
