Just have to boast about "my circle". I like the idea that I can call my Verizon friends. My only complaint about the circle is that the 10 number that you choose, are shared between all the phones on your account. I wish it was 10 numbers per line. That would be sweet.
But come on, 10 numbers? How many more do you need? I mean you already have quite a few minutes if you are able to get My Circle on your account, so 10 numbers, at least for our family, would be plenty. My peak airtime usage(non m2m) would go from about 400 per month down to almost nothing with just 2 numbers of My Circle.
Yep it all helps. I want a bunch of number that I call all the time for work. Most of the time, these work numbers put you on hold for 30 minutes.
Being on hold for 30 minutes? That sucks. Does ALLTEL have a roaming rule like that you have to use 50% of your usage on their network?
Interesting. Thanks for letting me know. I never thought that ALLTEL had such a rule, and if they did, enforce it.
This has been discussed at length on another board. There are only a couple of cases mentioned of it ever being enforced and those seemed to be really extreme cases. There are people living outside a native coverage area for two or more years that still have Alltel service. I suspect that if you are a moderate phone user given the size of your plan that they still make some money even if most of your calls are off network.
I don't care if this has been discussed on another board. Honestly, if you are talking about the OTHER board, I only visit the Verizon forum there so the information you are referring to from the other board, I've probably never read.
They don't usually enforce it, as posted above. Usually it is only in extreme cases where they are losing quite a bit of money. With WWC, I worked for them for 3 1/2 years and only saw the 50% rule enforced once on about 50 people, who were sent letters and allowed to cancel without a termination fee if they were still under contract.
Why such a hostile reply? My point was that there is a lot of evidence from many users to support the assertion that Alltel rarely enforces the 50% rule. Secondly, I was referring to "all wireless talk". I had to separate the parts of the name to even get it to show up here. If you try putting in the name of another board on this forum most of it gets changed to an underline.
