LoL...you are a country-by-day kinda guy, huh?
Are there any US military Bases near you?? If you can get in to shop at their stores, everything will be dirt cheap and no tax!
Lol in certain ways yes but the first home is always California and the second home here in Europe is Germany. London is the go-between until college is finished . If any of you is coming here soon, be sure to bring enough spare change, a pound does not go very far like a buck does.
so what's your major Shores?
Yeah...what made you want to go over there...other than the women.
Media Communications but my goal is to get into TV/Broadcasting, I did an internship over the summer at the FOX affiliate for the Bay Area. I worked in the Newsroom and there was always something to see there. It's interesting to see the anchors go in and out of the studio, most of them were quite friendly when they had time to chat with you.
Lol well definitely not the tea or Buckingham Palace hehe. I wanted to stay at an American university in Europe since my parents are from Germany and I've spent almost every summer visiting my grandparents and relatives there with my younger brothers. So when the time came to go to college, I originally applied for the University of Maryland's German campus near Stuttgart but that campus went bust nearly 2 years ago (not enough money to keep it going) and I had to switch to Webster University (they're in St. Louis and have 4 European campuses, London is one of them) since they were the next closest and they accepted all of my credits so I transferred without losing a semester. So here I am and I've got one more semester to go before I have my undergrad degree .
Does anyone know exactly what happend to Cop? Haven't seen him around lately....all I've seen are rainbow 'Jacks' and the welcome wagons..?
you miss Cop ha?
Yeah, especially after a couple of people were banned, things seem to be going nice and smooth lately...
You see me, and ILUVSOCAL planned the whole thing...we just wanted to make an example and show all you youngsters out there the dangers of fighting on WA!! I think the message sank in!!
ACTUALLY, I think the best thing about that little scuffle is that the MODS are now hanging out in the Roaming Zone, the grandchild of all Random Threads....and they are "letting their hair down" and loosening up a bit. Now you see you can still talk about wireless seriously and have fun at the same time. It's just a little creepy that all they want to talk about is Queer eye for the straight guy.
In all seriousness, even thought there was certainly more to it than me, I will shoulder the blame for that fight, mostly because I was gonna pop one way or another. It's amazing, that was like the last step of letting go of cigarettes. After I quit my aggressiveness went up about 300%. I got a couple buttons pushed and I popped. After I logged off that night, I slept like a baby. I feel better than ever...no patches, no gum, and I don't want to hurt people and small animals anymore.
Merry Christamas....and Shop at EbAy!!
Tony: Yeah, I miss cop . No, but, just wondering where he is. Just to check in and see where everyone is.
oh, i'm gonna cry................ha, ha
That's cool Shores....my FIRST college major was radio broadcasting and it was the best/funnest major yet. It's also cool you can experience the out of country experiences. I still love radio broadcasting....as you can tell by my radio icons..LoL
So I heard someone mentioned my name..thought I better come here and check. U guys talking behind my back??!? LOL.....
Christmas shopping eh??? I'll do mine this weekend
My Christmas wish list however, is growing longer everyday:
1) iAudio 4 MP3 Player (not released in US yet, but soon)
2) Couple of those geeky girl t-shirts from Thinkgeek.com (my favorite one says "There is no place like 127.0.0.1" on it)
3) Sony PDA UX50 (too pricy atm, but I can't wait to have a wi-fi capable PDA..... we are gonna be a Wi-Fi town soon!!!!) then I'll give my mom my t615c heh!
4) The new Microsoft 802.11g wi-fi router w/ the notebook adapter ( I have the 802.11b currently)
5) A 150GB removable hard drive
6) 20 Inch LCD w/ nice dot pixel resolution
and last but not least:
7) Samsung A790 (when it comes out...if it'll ever come out which is prolly Christmas 2004!) LOLLLLLLLL
I second that mp3 player request! But on my wish list it has to be an iPod! It doesn't matter 10GB, 20GB or the 40GB.
IPod is good......but too big !!!
I like my gadgets "cute" and "tiny" LOL
It's shorter than a cigarette, sleek design, a voice recorder, multi-lingual support and fits in your pocket like the Samsung A530!!!!
I thought "iPod too big?" she's crazy. But that iAudio player is pretty sweet.
Yep, I'm finally old. iPod big? I still remember when I got my first walkman and it was the size of a very thick paperback book. I was just thinking the other day that my diskman was really small compared to the one I got when they first came out. I don't even own a computer I wish I did, though. You can synch the PowerMac G5 with the new Bang & Olufsen stereos and get great sound quality and never have to load another disk again... unless you get a new one and need to save it to your hard drive. Why would anyone want to use a computer for anything other than storing music? (Can you tell I'm an audiophile?)
LOL!!! Come on! it is too big when compared with the iaudio 4
the new slim ipod: 4.1 x 2.4 x .73 (5.6 oz)
iaudio 4: appox. 3 x 1.6 x .6 (1.05 oz) and plus it's got 124 backlit colors on the LCD, 15 hours playback time from one battery, and supports FM.
Wow...the iPod sounds like a bag phone when you put it that way! I noticed the thing about the 124 colors...sounds cool. Can it cycle between them (like a disco effect)? That might kill some battery life but would look nice!
Now that I have become a mod for this forum I suppose I have to check in every once in a while. But I'm definetly not interested in Queer eye for the straight guy.
what a minute Larry, your post looks like it's quoting me, i think you edited out my part.
Sorry. I fixed it up and it looks better now.

hey Luvsocal, that's what my previous post needed, thanks, welcome back.
Thanks, it's nice to be back where I belong, welcome back to the place you always talked about..whoops, post/tv crossover from Welcome Back Kotter on TV lol I love that show, Oooohooohooooooh Mr.Kotter!! Oh, and it was John Travolta's big break into tv as Vinnie Barbarino and his famous saying "up your nose with a rubbah hose" or "off my case toilet face" LOL I admit, I had a Welcome Back Kotter lunch box in grade school tool, man, back in the day when lunches were still 25 cents at school!
lol, it takes guts to admit that, so in that case, i had a Fonzi one from Happy Days, can't believe what Ron Howard turn out to be, a great director imo.
