    This supposed statement, email, by Jobs was retracted by the OP article and Apple. it apparently was a fabricated email.

    The WA moderators should remove false information from the forums.

    Looks to me like the community did a fine job of "policing" itself. This thread hadn't been posted in in nearly 2 weeks until you brought it back. And FWIW, it appears the BGR stands by their story. Maybe it is true, maybe not.

    I won't be removing anything...but I will go ahead and lock this thread.
