Is this good? Verizon v60i

    I just talked to verizon about upgrading my service. I was looking for the v60 phone.

    They offered my the v60i phone with 2 year commitment for 114.99
    with the Verizon network plan for $35 300 mins and unlimited nights and weekends.
    (They are giving me Unlimited nights and weekends to match ATT plan for 2 years)

    I been with verizon for 8 years so the 2 years don't bother me.
    Is this good or not? Or should I ask for more ( greedy bastard) :)

    Not the v60g, you mean the v60i. The v60g is for GSM networks (Cingular, Voice Stream, AT&T). Verizon is CDMA. For unlimited nights and weekends, I think they charge you an extra $5 so your total should come to $39.99. I've had Verizon for 5 years and love it.

    The v60i has gotten mixed reviews. Some like it some don't. Personally, I wouldn't get it unless there wa a free trial period so I could treturn it if I didn't like it.

    On the other hand, Verizon is getting ready to introduce a number of new phones. If your not in a hurry I'd wait a few weeks and see what they offer.
