to put ringtones on an lg phone? Either by bluetooth or some other method. I have a mac so if you are going to say buy a usb cable then I need to know if the cable would work on a mac computer.

Also is there a way to have the mp3 saved on a memory card and then put the memory card in a phone and move the mp3 onto the phone. I will be buying an LG rumor.

    Thanks

You'd need to let us know what LG phone, and specific carrier.

Bitpim works with a lot of LG phones. This may support bluetooth or USB cable depending on the phone.

I was able to use a USB cable, LG pm 225 and bitpim to get ringers and contacts to the phone.

Go to bitpim site and check out to see if your phone is supported and for what.

When you use this does it charge you for internet use? Or anything like that? I want it to be completely free.

It certainly depends on how many/how large.

I got some small ringers to my phone sans dataplan for around 30-60 kb/ringer + text, or upload to funformobile funblog for slightly higher datarate, but no text.

Check out Bitpim and see if the rumor is supported and for what.

I have a V262 and am going to a Samsung Hue R500 and want to save my ringtones. Is it possible to save downloaded ringtones to my PC?

Well first you need to make sure your computer and your phone both have bluetooth. Then you make sure they are both on. Click on the picture and it should say send via bluetooth and it will look for devices and then you select your computer. Then your computer should ask you to accept or deny it. Accept it.
