Is it still possible to sign up for AMPS?

    Obviously the network is still around and functional. So could one still sign up for analog 800 MHz service?

    Pretty much no, unless you live out in the boonies and your only choice is analog. Carriers that now sell Digital service no longer activate analog accounts (most of them)
