Wirelessly posted (AT&T Tilt: 8900a/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6) UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0) Hf1khal, Did uou try going to http://wa00.com or wap.wirelessadvisor.com? WA00 works for me on IE while using my Tilt. I hope this helps you.
They both go to WAOO and nothing. I did not have this isue with the BB or the tilt. The iphone is a new thing for me with it's safari browser and it has no way to set things on it.
Well then I guess the iPhone cannot post wirelessly on WA via the WAP site. That is a shame. I was considering one, but I may change my mind. I still would like to see one in person when I get home and then make my decision.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es70) Several of the newer Symbian OS phones (including the E70-2 I'm posting with here) make use of a version of the Safari browser and have no problems with most WAP sites. It seems odd that the iPhone's version of the Safari browser doesn't support it.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; Google Wireless Transcoder) It's not a perfect solution, but the following sites should allow you to view & post to wap sites from the iPhone or desktop browser: http://www.google.com/gwt/n http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=http://wa00.com (Wireless Advisor - Mobile Edition) http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=http://wap.howardforums.com (Howard Forums - Mobile Edition) I hope this helps.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; Google Wireless Transcoder) let's try it via the google link
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; Google Wireless Transcoder) it worked
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11a Safari/525.20) It works for my iPod touch now so I'm assuming it should also work with the iPhone
This is using the safari from iPhone. I have been using that for a while and have not seen the browser stamp yet. Did you use safari using the normal WA web link?
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11a Safari/525.20) No I just typed in wa00.com in the browser and it came up with the logo for WA and then I just refreshed the page and it worked.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16) It seems the direct WAP is now accesible via the iPhone I wonder if there was changes made to the forum

WAP refers to the protocols used by cellular phones. This would not be implemented in the WiFi-only iPad model. WPA is a security protocol that is part of IEEE 802.11 - the WiFi standard.
