"Choosing which iPhone model to purchase this year should be more carefully considered, as both AT&T and T-Mobile models of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus do not support CDMA networks such as Verizon and Sprint in the United States. Apple confirmed the matter in fine print in the iPhone 7 tech specs and on its LTE page." All models of 6 and 6s supported CDMA. http://www.macrumors.com/2016/09/08/att-and-tmobile-iphone-7-models-lack-cdma/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If I understood you correctly, you may have taught me something new. I was not aware that any manufacturer made phones that switch from GSM to CDMA. i thought all phones were one or the other. Now, I do know that most manufacturers make phones for both technologies, but not in the same handset.
Hmmmm. According to Apple, iPhone 7 purchased from their upgrade plan are unlocked for all carriers. That seems to be the spec for the A1660/1661 models. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
