So, I finally got my Timeport P8197 into field test mode and it reads: 675 1 051 051 D2 C0M... WTF does this mean?
So, I finally got my v620 into field test mode and there's a bunch of stuff on multiple screens. Does anyone have a tutorial on reading and interpreting field test mode on Motorla handsets? I have searched this forum, searched MotoModders and googled it but I can't find any easy to read info that breaks down exactly what I'm looking at and what it means. I read this tutorial about the engineering menu from MotoModders but that isn't what I'm looking at, I don't think. Any suggestions? (Incedentally, I know what the signal strength looks like and that it's in decibels... I'm talking about the 3 1/2 pages of other crap. What is it? What does it mean? Does it hold the secret of life? What is my phone trying to tell me?)
The only tutorial I've found was the one at motomodders. I haven't seen anything else out there, and I've looked pretty hard. -Jay
