Import a530 normal ringtones to VX4400?

    Since a lot of people are complaining that the VX4400 doesn't have normal ringtones, I was wondering if it will be possible to upload the normal ringtones from the a530 ( i heard there are 5 to 6 of them) to a computer and then download them to a VX4400 via Bitpim/GAGIN. Does anyone know what format the a530 ringtones are in (midi?).

    I know this phone has just hit the market so I'm not expecting any solid answers just yet. I just wanted to bring up the idea and the possibility of doing this. Any thoughts or comments?

    I wouldn't mind uploading some normal ringtones to my phone [​IMG]

    I would venture to guess that they are midi ringtones. How they will translate to the 4400 remains to be seen. The a530 may have better audio capablities when it comes to ringers...Better speaker, better midi player, etc.

    Maybe Anvilstudios midi program or some other midi editing software could help the conversion of the a530 to the VX4400....
