Anyone know: the Image format / file size restrictions for a s105?

Can these be downloaded via web browsing? I've been unable to download anything with this phone...

The size limits for pics is 128x128. I don't know about any file size limit in KB. I haven't been able to get any animated GIFs to work that have tranparent backgrounds.

Use Samsung's EasyGPRS software to upload pics and ringtones to your phone. The software will let you choose .jpg, .gif, and .bmp files. Make sure you use EasyGPRS version 2.0.4. It is the only version that works with the S105. Search this site for the link to download the software.

I haven't downloaded anything from the web to the phone because you have to pay for most of them. Instead I download them to my laptop for free and copy them to my phone.

According to Samsung, you can't download J2ME MIDLETS to the phone using T-Mobile's network as of yet.

    Great!
I just got the Easy GPRS 2.04 and installed it... I need to use the infrared port though, right?

Only seem to be COM port options available...

PS: what format are the ringtones in?

You need to use the IR port. Turn the IR port to "on" for the phone and your PC. According to Samsung (again), you need at least Win2k SP3 or WinXP to use the IR correctly, but I do know that it works with other Win OSs, too. Your phone will be assigned a COM port after putting it by your PC with the IR port.
