Can you have more than one IM service on your phone or just one? And can you take remove them if you don't want them anymore?

I know that Verizon phones can use AIM, MSN, and Yahoo. I've never tried to use them at the same time, but I don't know why you couldn't.

You can have multiple services. I have AOL, MSN, and Yahoo on one of my phones. I believe that the software is part of the firmware and cannot be easily removed, unless it is one that you installed later. Factory supplied applications can be disabled, but usually not removed.

Okay. It's just some people I know use YIM and others use AIM, so I wanted to know if I could use both. I have a RAZR V3, btw. So you can disable the IM if you don't want to use them, but you can't remove them? Are they on all the time once you've set them up or can you log them off whenever you want?

Edit: What if you wanted to change your screen name?

You can have then to automatically sign on, or sign on and off at your choosing. Changing your screen name is as simple as going to the setup for the application and making the changes.
