Could someone identify the phone in the foreground in this pic? I am assuming it is a Moto, if not sorry for posting it here.

It's not the greatest pic. It is a snap off of my TV capture card from a show.

I figured, if it is a Moto, someone here could definitely identify it.

    Thanks!

e815? It looks like it has a extendable antenna.

At first I thought so also, even though the picture is not that great, you can see that right under the camera lens there is nothing, when in the 815 and the 710 the outside lcd display is directly under the camera lens.

I don't know then. That grey under the mirror kinda looks like it might be a LCD, also it looks like it might say Verizon under it, not sure though. Or maybe it just looks like that because I'm tired.

    I concur. That's clearly a V710 with a VX6100 behind it.

I am not quite sure. I tried to do a side by side in this picture and to me it does somewhat look like the V710, except that the black rectangle around the camera in the V710 is larger. Could it be a V710 made for outside the US?

I think the apparant size difference of the black areas are due to the angle and the glare reflecting off the phone. It's probably the V710, the e815 doesn't have the black sections.

Hmm you think so? It's quite possible - take a look at this picture, there also seems to be more chrome on top of the camera lens .

You're really overanalyzing this. What you're perceiving as 'extra chrome' is actually light reflecting on the thin black sections above and below the camera lens. The black sections, being plastic, are highly reflective. That is most certainly a V710 in the original photo.

And, for the record, the only variation of the V710 case (aside from the E815)was the A840 (Moto's CDMA/GSM 'world phone') - the design is similar, except with more rounded corners in the case design, and a silkscreened globe logo on the front near the external display. (And this ISN'T the A840.)

Ok Critic you have convinced me, I should know better than to argue with a V710 owner about a V710 when I have never owned one... :notworthy

What am I doing in the Moto Forum anyway ...hmm must have lost my way...LOL

Must give credit where credit is due.

Critic, you are correct, it is the 710.

I emailed the executive producer of the show I saw it on and to my surprise he just answered me telling me it is the 710. :)

The show is a made for HBO sitcom named "The Comback" with Lisa Kudrow. Not the greatest show in my opinion but I have been watching it from the beginning, about 5 episodes now, and that phone gets a ton of play in the show. Especially with her obnoxious ringtone Trepak (Russian Dance) from the Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky.

Thanks for all the replies and congrats to "Critic" for standing his ground in his observation :)
