For those that have had the recent miss fortune of having to deal with the ice storm in the central US, I am wondering how you found the networks to perform? Extended wide area power outages and ice on antennas generally seam to wreak havoc with the wireless network.

Lost power for 6 hours, my parents, in-laws and brother were all out for 4+ days but none of us had issues with our phones T-Mobile, Sprint, Alltel or AT&T.

I heard they had to bring COWs in to OK but I didn't hear about that anywhere else.
