I wouldn't say the keyboard is the easiest to type on, but it isn't tough to get used to. I like the Blackberry keyboard better than the onscreen one that I have on the 3115, but I make do. You can also use the handwriting transcriber, but that takes some time to learn how it recognizes your writing. I use it mostly for reading, and only a little typing...
Well I decided to wait until later this week in case we get some 10% coupons from Best Buy on Thursday, like we did before Memorial Day weekend. If not, then I will either buy it on Friday or Saturday, so then I can get used to it before I go on vacation with my family next week. Thanks for the recommendation and the advice. I appreciate it.
That's the best thing to do, I miss those long holiday weekend sales . Why not wait until the 4th of July weekend sales or are they this weekend already instead of the week after?
I will Dru. I have been looking at all of the PDA's and have been reading tons of reviews online. I will definitely insure it. I insure all of my big ticket items at Best Buy and Circuit City.
Well when it was Memorial Day Weekend almost a month ago, they sent us 10% off coupons on Thursday, so then the sale was Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Memorial Day). Hopefully they will also do that this time. If they don't, and I don't receive them in the mail on Friday, then I will go ahead and buy it, since it will be exactly a week before I go on vacation with my family.
Neat, we need to liven up the Pocket PC forum and also post pics of our PDAs/PPC devices here in the RZ. Don't forget to get a screen protector for your PDA.
Here is a photo of my HP rx3115 taken with my Nokia 6230 camera. The photo was sent from the 6230 to my rx3115 over bluetooth, then synced over wi-fi to my laptop(which you can see in the background of the picture with this Wireless Advisor thread open). I love Wireless stuff!
One of the things I worry about with my MDA II is getting moisture (i.e. spit) or slight water droplets (rain) on it. Normally I gently wipe off the display after having the phone out before closing up the case . Am I overreacting?
It looks like a nice screen and nice PDA. But I don't know if I like PDA's with black boxes on the screen.....
I don't think you are overreacting ShoresGuy. Investments (anything expensive or that you want to last) are important to preserve.
Yeah!!! you may wanna get rid of those divots on the screen!!! I'd hate for you to miss appointments cuz of that!!! I'm just looking out for you, Az!!! :lmao:
Well I am typing on my new PalmOne LifeDrive Mobile Manager. I will post more about it once I fully try it out.
Well I tried that out, and I liked the menus and WM 2003, but I didn't like how the PDA felt in my hand. I compared it to the LifeDrive, and I liked the LifeDrive over the rx3115. So I decided to get the LifeDrive. Plus, I have a lot of cd's, so I wanted one with more space.
Thanks azcellphonejunkie. I have already started figuring it out and getting used to the menu and stylus pen. I will be using this a lot, so I can justify the cost of this thing.....
Lol....Thanks ShoresGuy. I have been enjoying it so far....I put some mp3's on it, and they have hardly touched the hardrive (since I have a total of 4.85 gb on it...including my SD card). I just updated my profile. Thanks for reminding me!
No problem, I haven't fully used my MDA II in terms of Windows Media Player. It sits in its case most of the case even when I'm at work.
