You cannot - at least not legally. MPT is not free software. Google MPT 4.0 - there are many places (even Amazon resellers) that have the software for less than $10, much cheaper than the offical Hellomoto site. Do the right thing and spend the 10 bucks.

Have you checked out this site, no Moto Phone tools software for free, but other tools that should work fine, and instructions.

Buy it on eBay. I just bought an OEM copy for under $10. If ya can spend ten bucks on it, you don't need it that bad.

English is not my native language, so, err...in fact, i am not quite understand what are you for. If you just want to upload/download ring files, i don't think you should insist on MPT, there are a lot of choice.

you can find a lot of Motorola DIYs here, also a lot of answers to MPT questions~Have fun!

The reason we recommend MPT on these forums is that for new users MPT is best. It has safeguards that prevent novice users from deleting critical files the phone needs to operate. It is also cheap, and as long as you purchase it from a reputable source it is safe. Other software packages can allow you to destroy the phone's file system, or may contain trojans or viruses.

actually before you get your motorola phone tools you should always check if it is compatible with you cell phone. i mean you can not match apples and oranges together. it should be an easy set up once you just connect the usb from the cell phone to the computer. check out the compatibility here:

    hope this helps you. =)

I received MPT from Avanquest for free by looking at other online offers.
I was pleased with both experiences. Please beware that all functions of MPT isn’t available for all carriers (Verizon is one) some carriers have made Motorola remove multimedia functions on the cell phone thru MPT. This is the link to the company I received the free MPT software Avanquest Software USA - Productivity, Finance, PC Utility and Mobility Solutions

I have MPT 4.0 and a razr v3m. I looked up my first question on here and apparently a lot of people have troubles with this. I was able to set it up by manually setting up the phone as a v3cm or something like that and it worked to make ringtones but when i tried to do things with my pictures, it wouldn't connect with my phone anymore. I tried uninstalling MPT and then i reinstalled it. Now it gives me an error message when i try to manually set up my phone and it closes out of phone tools all together. Ugh, i'm frustrated:censored. I saw someone wrote about updating MPT till it gets to 4.21 but I can only get it to 4.04, i think. I try to run Live Update and it gives me another error. Help, please!

There really isnt any difference between the 2 versions...one performs the same functions as the other... Try going to motodev @ MOTODEV , sign up for free, and get the "Self installing P2K drivers"... then install and connect. sounds like your driver is corrupt.

We do not support "Warez", or otherwise known as pirated software on this site. If you want the software you should pay for it. I will now lock this thread.
