Hello, I'm new to this forum, I just have a question.

I have a blackberry curve that was giving me trouble, so I sent it to the Sprint store to have it replaced. But now that I have a new phone, all the saved text messages I have are gone. And these were very important messages that I needed to keep. I have had no luck in trying to retrieve them. Is there anyway to find these saved messages or are they gone forever?

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. they did NOT replace the Sim Card, so that's why I'm puzzled as to why the saved text messages are gone, and everything else I had was saved (Numbers, MP3s, etc...)

You mention a SIM card...was this a Nextel Curve? Because a Sprint Curve doesn't have a SIM card. On the Sprint Curve, the text messages are stored on the phone. If you didn't backup your phone with the BB backup software before sending it to Sprint, the text messages are lost forever.

If you had a Nextel Curve, the two-way messages are not stored on the SIM either. If you have enabled the option for Nextel to save all your incoming messages on the Multimedia Messaging link on your online account management page, you may still be able to see the messages there, and then forward them to your phone.
