I have to get a cell..I know, 2002 and no cell?? Yeah, well, that is just the way I am. Anyway. I have no clue. I have been trying to do research for a few weeks now, but it seems like things change week to week. Here are the basics. I really doubt I will use this phone to often. It is more for that rare emergency, or returning a call or something. I would probably use the phone more after 8pm and more on the weekends. Also, besides the South Florida area, I often travel up to New York City,(and Long Island). Primarily, if I can get a plan that will work for this areas, I will be set. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance [IMG]

First of all, most new cellular users think that they will only use their phones for emergencies and unusual situations. But, after a while, you find yourself feeling lost if you are in an area without coverage. You will almost certainly use it far more than you think right now. If you give us more info as to your travel habits, such as "do you drive or fly between Florida and New York?" we can probably offer more advice. In any case, you want a carrier that has a footprint that covers your travel. Also, what else, if anything do you want your phone to do? You will find that Verizon has great coverage in both Florida and New York. Cingular is very strong in Florida. Each carrier has unique strengths and weaknesses.
