I llive in AZ, and I need a new cell phone [prepaid]. I want a RAZR, but Verizon doesnt work in OK, AK, or AZ. I also like the Katana. Should I go with Liberty and get the Katana, or should I choose the RAZR for Alltel?

Get the phone connected to the company with the best coverage, where you will want to make calls, unless there's some other feature that's more important than being able to make a call.

Verizon has a huge native footprint in Arizona, I'm not sure who told you they don't work there.
Verizon works in AK, where they have a limited, but growing native footprint and they have native coverage in parts of OK.
Where are you looking to use your phone the most?
ALLTEL has the largest and generally best coverage in Arizona, you could give them a shot. Their prepay includes roaming on other carriers free of charge.

Andy, the OP posted a similar thread in the Verizon forum. We explained all of this to him. He used the wrong initials for a state as well. He got his answer. ;)
