I got my unlimited data plan back!!!

Well, after a couple weeks being scared to use my data because I was on a "limited" data plan, I called 611 today and asked what was available. They were able to put me on an unlimited data plan for $0.50 more than I was paying for the 2GB plan. Now I can try all the cool stuff I see out there without fear of me going over on my data. Yay!

 

Well, I have 3 lines. 2 are out of contract, my line was upgraded a few weeks ago when I bought the HTC Inspire. I called 611 and told them that the past couple weeks have been hell, and I've been scared to use the data, because I have had unlimited data for 8 or 9 years now, and I was disappointed that my old unlimited data plan could not transfer to my new phone. I made mention that I was considering taking the phone back to the store before the 30 days was up, so I could possibly port to another carrier w/o an ETF. I told them that I figured I'd call, and see what they could offer me before I decided to take the phone back and start shopping. I could not get unlimited data for $19.99 like I used to have, but they were able to sign me up for a plan that will be roughly the same price as the 2gb plan after my service discount is applied.

 

Teathering never worked on the Pure, I haven't tried teathering on the Inspire.
