At the moment I have no idea what version of SnapMedia I am using. Also, xan, I didn't need to use a serial. I just downloaded the program, installed, and that was it.

Remember to install the USB drivers otherwise SnapMedia will not recognize the connection between the phone and computer.

P.S. If any of you are looking for the USB cable, I bought mine at Radioshack the other day for $19.99.

Snapmedia is a program that lets you upload ringers and screensavers from your pc to your phone....edits them both too if you choose to do so....I perosnally haven't used it but grabbed it cause i don't have the cable yet....whats the difference between sanyo's cable and the ratshack one???

The cables are the same. As for the software, if you are going to use both SnapSync and SnapMedia, make sure you install SnapSync first. I found some problems with it when I did the reverse and had to reinstall. Both SnapSync and SnapMedia are available on Kazaa, including the serial number. Enjoy!!!

Just my two cents, but SnapMedia isn't worth all the trouble people go though to get it. It's a poorly written program that only gives you basic functions when it comes to adding ringers and pics. Unless you are worried about how much downloading you are doing with Vision, try using some of the online upload tools. There are also free programs that will let you edit midi files for ringers and images for wallpapers. TT

I've checked on Kazaa and have not been able to find the serial for snapsync. I would greatly appriciate it if you could post or email it to me.

    Thanx!

why would you need more than basic "cut down midi to make it smaller" functions? I bought SnapMedia because I didn't want Vision (sorry, surfin' da web on a phone makes no sense to me). Granted, it is a piece of crap for what I paid, but I'd rather pay once for software and a cable than monthly for a service to do something I'd do only do a few times a month.

    *shrug*
