I am looking to either sell Sprint/Nextel ATT or Tmobile I have been in the wireless industry working for some large indirect dealers for almost all the major cell phone carriers but now feel its time to get my own shop and go to work, I know the business and know how to run a location and know Im looking for a master dealer to work with and would like to know some basic information.

How hard is it to start up once I get a location?
What steps need to be taken before I even contact a master dealer?
If I want to carry inventory in my store what does that take to make it happen and how does financing work
If you ahve anything else I should please contact me

I am in the Southern California N. LA market ( Ventura County )

    My direct email - DELETED

Before you take any steps insure you have the capital for your operating cost... depending on the volume of your store you could be spending 20 to 100k a month on phones, and expect your commissions 30 to 60 days later. Sprint does offer direct fulfillment... however many customers want to walk out of your store with a phone... otherwise what is the difference of ordering online.

Ive been talking with American wireless master dealer for sprint nextel and they due offer credit, if your credit is good once approved then you can fill your store with inventory, example im approved 25k Im allowed 25 worth of inventory.... example, i sell 15k worth of phones and commission = 25k i get my 25 commission check at the end of the month and my bill for the 15 worth of phones, i make back out to my dealer... This is what I have heard but can I clarify with people "who have done that been there" thanks
