The Huawei Honor 5X goes on sale today in the U.S. for $199. It's a pretty nice phone for the price. An unusual item it has is 3 card slots for a nano SIM, micro SIM and micro SD slot. I am thinking I may need a new toy to play with at that price.

    Slick phone.
I think you should get it for this feature of the camera alone: "Food mode lets you capture pictures of food with stunning colors and realism." :hungry:

BLU has been around for a while. I never read anything real good about them at NewEgg under comments.

I've been skittish about them. They are definitely geared towards the budget crowd. Never had a desire to try them because I'm on the wrong network lol ,( Huawei and Blu)

I've thought the same thing in the past, but I really liked the Nexus 6P. The only thing I see where they are saving money on the Honor 5X is the CPU isn't the latest and greatest, but not bad.

I think the Huawei Nexus is an exception. They had to get it right.

My brother and dad had only negative things to say about Huawei... The initial Huawei phones were cheap pieces of crap from what I was told.

Maybe the 6P is a turnaround for Huawei.
