Got a text from AT&T saying that there's a new software update available for my phone. As usual, the "Software Update" under settings is not working. It just says "Checking for new software available now". (And yes, I am connected to WiFi) Been like that for about 30 mins now. Is there a work around like when the ICS update came out?
Jay, did you install the ICS update manually or via AT&T software update utility? If you installed it manually I wouldn't be surprised if the text you received from AT&T was actually notifying you of the ICS update. I don't see any mention of any other updates for Vivid since March.
I did get a notification in March for ICS, and the software update utility did not work, so I did *#*#682#*#* and it updated. I just got another update notification the other day, and the update utility is not working again, and when I entered *#*#682#*#* nothing happened.
