With all the crazy and diverse weather we experience across the forum's membership, it has been suggested that we have a Weather Thread. So.... How is your Weather? Post your stories, pictures, screenshots of the temps, or whatever you want here.
Nice thread Joe Allow me to be the first to post although our weather is pretty boring, it's either cold or snow here. So here is our forecast. Even my mischief maker is bored. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
As my wife would say, Froggy (foggy). But happily no "chance of meatballs." Yesterday was very odd, though. It started off sunny, clear, nice temp. Then around 10AM, the fog started to roll in and it cooled down considerably. Then another 3 hours later, it was clear again.
Fantastic weather here in the Pacific Northwest the last few days. It was 60 yesterday and so clear and sunny, we were out watching bald eagles and we could see all the Cascades peaks - Rainier, St. Helens, Adams, Hood and Jefferson. It was glorious, and there were so many baldies! All in all, a great day to be alive! On days like this, there's no better place to be than the Pacific Northwest.
It has been warm and dry all winter here in Eugene. Everything here is starting to bloom already, which means allergies for a lot of people.
The weather in Chicago hasn't been good. Normal high is suppose to be 38, but this last week it's been way below that.
We are in for a roller coaster forecast the next few days. A wind chill advisory is in effect overnight and tomorrow morning. We are under a freeze watch tomorrow night/Friday morning. Also we will either tie or beat our record lows tonight and tomorrow night. This may not seem like a big deal to people up north but down here it is. I am looking forward to cooler weather since before too long we will be warm again. Time to bundle up and turn on the heat over the next few days! @dmapr, that's depressing @palandri, very close to our temps, just a bit warmer. Then again you are within an hour and half of me. We have an windchill advisory in effect from 6PM tonight to noon tomorrow, 20 to 30 below zero is expected. The actual temperature will be 10 below tonight and tomorrow night and +1 for high tomorrow. We have a balmy +11 now.
Also with this bad weather comes dangerous ice on roads. I don't know if the state is trying to save on salt, but we had a 38 vehicle accident last Sunday on the Kennedy expressway at the downtown Ohio street exit.
Oh bummer! That's the exit we usually take. For sure WI is not cutting down on salt as evidenced by the salt caking on my car constantly. I guess that's better than a massive accident. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
We are under a widespread freeze warning tonight and a wind chill advisory. We are expecting wind chills in the mid to upper 20s tonight! The low that is predicted tonight is 33. So definitely close to a freeze. Our record was 39 so we will most likely break that. Also we haven't been this cold since December of 2012.
My devices are going crazy with windchill advisory notifications The original prediction was extended to tomorrow 10 am. I believe it was until noon today. Originally. Sent from my iPad Air 2 using Tapatalk
Just listened to my local news...today's high of 45° is the new record of the lowest high. Sent from my SM-N910V
